An eye catcher at the beautiful “Kornmarkt” is the corner house called “Schiffchen”, which means small boat. This building combines construction features of the late gothic and the early renaissance building epochs. A typical characteristic is the rope maker’s handcraft symbol located at the gabled cladding at the front of the “Schiffchen”. Between 1967 and 1968 the house was reconstructed into its original shape.
